Who we are
Lens Warrior ("Lens Warrior", "we", "us", "our") installs and supplies security cameras and CCTV systems for homes and businesses across Greater Sydney, NSW. This notice explains what personal information we collect through our website and chat assistant, how we store and use it, and who we share it with — including our use of Anthropic's Claude AI to power our chat assistant.
This notice applies to lenswarrior.au and the chat assistant embedded on this site. It does not apply to other websites you may reach through links on our site.
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your property address or suburb, and details about the installation you're enquiring about
- The content of your conversation with our chat assistant
- Photos of your property you choose to upload in the chat, so we — and our AI assistant — can assess camera placement and give you a rough cost estimate
- Appointment details if you book a site visit or installation (date, time, service type)
Information collected automatically:
- Your IP address, used only to apply reasonable rate limits that protect the chat assistant from abuse — we don't use it to identify you or link it to your enquiry
- General website usage data via an analytics tool (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type)
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote
- Assess your property from photos you upload, to recommend a camera layout and estimate cost
- Schedule and manage bookings for site visits and installations
- Follow up with you about an enquiry or booking, including by phone, SMS, or email
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and chat assistant
- Meet our legal and tax obligations
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
Our chat assistant and Anthropic
Our website chat assistant is built on Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic. When you chat with us:
- Everything you type, and any photos you attach, is sent to Anthropic's API so Claude can generate a reply and, where relevant, assess your photos for a cost estimate.
- Anthropic processes this content to return a response to us. Under Anthropic's standard commercial API terms — which apply to our use of it — this data is not used to train Anthropic's AI models.
- Anthropic may retain this data briefly to provide the service and for safety and abuse-monitoring purposes, under its own data handling practices. See Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy for details.
- Anthropic is based in the United States, so your chat messages and any uploaded photos are disclosed and processed overseas when you use the chat assistant.
If you'd rather not have your messages or photos sent to Anthropic, please email us instead of using the chat assistant.
Where your information is stored
We use third-party cloud computing and cloud storage services to run our website, chat assistant, and database, and to store the enquiry, booking, and photo records described above. We don't operate our own servers.
For security reasons, this notice doesn't name the specific providers we use — we keep that detail to ourselves rather than giving a roadmap of our systems to anyone looking for a way in. What matters to you is what's collected, why, and who it's disclosed to, which this notice sets out in full.
Some of these services operate servers outside Australia, so your personal information may be disclosed and processed overseas.

We only share what each service needs to perform its function for us. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry, booking, and photo records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver our services, and meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. If you'd like your information deleted sooner, see "Your rights" below.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including restricting access to our admin systems to authorised staff only. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for legal or tax reasons

Cookies and analytics
Our website uses an analytics service to understand how visitors use our site, which may set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings — this won't stop you from using our site, though the chat assistant and contact form will still work normally.
Children's privacy
Our services are intended for adults arranging security camera installations. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
